Design and Make a Healthy Lunchbox

During Discovery Time, we made a healthy box.  

We decided that we could choose to have:

cherry tomatoes

celery sticks

carrot sticks

cucumber sticks

In our sandwiches, we had 

eggs from our school chickens,

lettuce, 

cheese,

ham or chicken slices,

and marmite.

And for a treat we had:

popcorn (made by room 4)

a jam sandwich

and apples.

Here we are making our sandwiches.

Beach Education

First time ever,

for the Rimu Team students to participate in

Beach Education at Long Bay.

Room 1 had a visit from Mrs Johns and her Hen and Chick.

 shared lots of information that she knew about the lifecycle.

 told us that it take 21 days for an egg to hatch.
