During our first week,
we have been reading and listening to stories about the men and women who were involved in
WW1 and WW11.
We were lucky to have Lyla's Grandad - Charles,
come and talk about
his Father who was in the war.
Charles showed us some photos of his Father and he
bought in his Father's sword.
First, we lined up like the Room 1 Army
and had an inspection by the Queen?
Everyone stood very still.
Wow! Don't they look great!
Then, under the watchful eye of Charles, we choose to hold the sword.
Very brave children in Room 1.
