Stepping Out on the Road!

 

Constable took us for a walk.

Cars are 

DANGEROUS.

How do we know if a car is moving?

Look to see if someone is inside the car.

Look at the backlights and see if they are red.

Look for smoke coming from the exhaust.

Constable Holly and Luseana-Rose are looking up the road 

to see if it is clear to cross the driveway.

Braxston and Miley are looking down the driveway to check that it is clear.

Bryan and Harper are looking up the road to see if it is safe to cross.

It is always important to stay near the fence side of the pathway.

Constable Holly is standing on the kerb,

it is not a safe place to walk.

Parker is waiting by the fence side of the footpath.

A very safe place.

Lilymaina, Anabelle and Miley are all checking to 

see if it is safe to cross the driveway.

We then went for a walk to look out for 

sneaky driveways.

What to do when you cross a road.
