Spring Flowers

 

Right under our noses we found some spring flowers 

in our court yard area outside Room 1.  

We had a chat about why we don't pick flowers at

Owairaka School, and that we only look with our eyes

and smell with our noses. 

We are an Enviro School which means that we take care

of our environment.  

Room 1 had some really sound reasons why we don't pick the flowers.

1.  The bees need the pollen to make honey.

2.  Everyone should be able to enjoy looking at the flowers.
