Fire Fighter and Fire Truck Visit

 Rimu has had a really busy week.

Very exciting today.

These fire fighters come from Avondale Fire Station.  First they spoke to us about being safe around matches, candles and lighters.  They belong with an adult NOT for children to play with.

Then they showed us all the special gear they put on when they go to a fire. 

There was a lot gear to keep them safe from the fire.

Then we practised 

Get Down

Get Low

Get Out FAST and

Stay Out

After that we went to the Safe Place

in front of the Fire Truck.

And then we got to look around the Fire Truck

and we got to go inside.

And then we got a certificate and some stickers.
