We needed to find out more about Insect Houses.
So ... we decided to talk to Sarah, our very own Garden to Table Expert.
Sarah talked to us about insects that are good for our garden,
Hoverflies
Lacewings
Ladybirds
Spiders
We had to find out what Hoverflies and Lacewings looked like.
Sarah also told us that when making a bug hotel or insect house, it needs to be sheltered, but also most insects prefer a slightly damp place.
We have decided to put a roof on top planted with flowers and have a gap underneath the bottom, just incase there maybe a hedgehog or two that might like to live at our school.
