Shape Rockets

We have been learning about 2D shapes and the parts of a rocket.

First we made a rocket out of shapes, 

then our teacher took a photo of our rocket.

Next, we choose different colours and 

we had to trace around the shapes and cut them out to make the 

same rocket shape as our photo.

That's quite tricky for Year 1's,

but they look great, don't they?

Finally, we drew in same twinkly stars with wax crayons and then 

we washed our rockets with water, PVA and glitter.
