FRAN the FROG

Room 15 has now got a frog. 

We have called him/her, Fran.  

It was an unanimous decision.  I wonder who it is named after???

We have done some writing about, Fran the Frog and here it is...

We now have to catch food for out frog.  

Exploring!

Exploring during Discovery Time

This week we got some new magnifying glasses.  So, during Discovery Time 

with Room 14, we went on an exploring adventure with our teacher.  

Jack's Birthday

This week the, Joy Cowley Reading Group read Jack's Birthday.  

We were learning to check that what we read makes sense.  

After reading, 

we choose a car and made a garage for our car, just like Jack.

Holiday Reading

Another holiday time has passed and Room 15 has been busy reading.

Fairy Judy has been into visit and rewarded those children 

who read during their holidays and filled in their reading logs:

Coach Fabian showed us 3 good tips to help us balance.

Tip 1.  Arms out straight like a plane.

Tip 2.  Stand straight like a tree.

Tip 3.  Look straight ahead.

And here we are having a go.

Week 2

This week we balanced with a bean bag.  Then we played a new game called, crabby tag.
