It was just a normal lunchtime,

when Parker got a visitor!

The next day we read the story how,

"Lizard Loses His Tail" and we did a little looking on

the internet about New Zealand Lizards.

We learnt a little bit more!

Matariki Afternoon Tea

We made shortbread Matariki Stars with Room 18.

Here we are busy at work.

Matariki and the Strawberry Patch

Matariki is the time to plant.

Room 1 didn't plant, but we did feed the strawberries and put 

pea straw around them for the winter.

We hope they give us a good crop this summer.

We received a mysterious envelope,

Room 18 is our buddy class and they invited us to a
