Mrs Johns and the Chick and Hen


Room 1 had a visit from Mrs Johns and her Hen and Chick.









Anumitha,
 shared lots of information that she knew about the lifecycle.

Kato,
 told us that it take 21 days for an egg to hatch.

They have worked very hard during the term on their performance.

During the first block we had Athletics Rotation.
We had all sorts of activities, 
based on 
RUN,  JUMP,  THROW:

Jump & Throw
Hurdles
Bean Bag Throw
Ladders
Sack Race
Noodle Tag
Frisbee Throw
Relay Races
Soft Ball Throw




We had sprint class & team heats earlier in the week.

Our class heat winners were:
6 Year Old Girls:

6 Year Old Boys
Navala
Kato

These children from Room 1 went through to the semi finals and finals.

In the second block,
we had the semi finals and finals of the 
50 metre sprint. 

Rimu Team has awesome runners, they are so, so, so fast.

Green Week continued ...



On Monday and Tuesday of Green Week
we had Book Swop.


Issa, Floyd, Clevelyn and Tabitha
 swopped their books, here they are with their new book.

During the week we planted our "Little Garden" plants 
into the garden outside our room and in the round garden by the
strawberry patch.




And on Friday, we came GREEN!






Green Week - Term 4


🕸Our Theme for Green Week is 🐞 
We look after animals and insects -
by creating habitats for them and not harming helpful insects.🐝

We and had a look at our Bug Hotel
in the Butterfly Garden and
collected leaves, sticks, stones to put in for our insects.

Fitness-a-thon Week



We had an awesome
Fitness-a-thon.

On Monday we had running on the field.
First, we had to warm up.



Now we are in full running mode!
