Room 1 had already spied out these trees in our playground,
but were just waiting for the green light to start climbing.
Climbing Trees
have a green circle on the trunk and red ropes around the branches.
We are allowed to climb up to the red rope.
Room 1 was extremely good at showing Manaakitangi,
they realised very quickly that not everyone would be able to climb at once.
So they got themselves into an orderly lined and took turns at climbing.

It is really neat to see kids climbing trees at Owairaka! I really like the way you all waited patiently and took turns. Well done Room 1.
