Room 1 is going to make a big Tivaevae made out of paper.
Tivaevae is a material hand made quilt made by Cook Island women, often together.
Aryia's mum bought one of her Tivaevae's in to show us.
First, we fold a square piece of paper into a rectangle.
Next, we folded it again into a square.
The next part was really tricky.
We had to cut from the fold at the bottom to the top in a bit of a curve.
We really had to persist, we kept on trying and
everyone can now make a tivaevae flower.
