Night Time Paintings

 We have been learning to use different colours to create a painting to
represent night.

We used the same technique that we used with our day time paintings. We started with black paint on our palette, this went at the top of our page, then we added a little bit of blue to our palette and mixed together.  This is called tinting.
We continued to paint the background.

Next, we looked at the artist;
  Hundertwasser and used his "inspiration" to draw our night buildings.

You are great artists, Room 15.

  2. We thought it was easy drawing the buildings because we are good at colouring in and we only had to draw building and nothing else. Kai, Max, Rory and Persaies.

    Some of us thought painting the background was hard, because we had to paint side to side and not up and down. The stars were tricky too. Persaies, Drea, Kai.
